Hotel Corys is a small, welcoming hotel with seven well-furnished, fully-equipped bedrooms offering luxurious holiday accommodation in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany. Most of the rooms have marvelous views over the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, the others look out over an enclosed, furnished garden area -perfect for reading or a relaxing cup of tea with local biscuits and delicacies. You can enjoy the panoramic views over breakfast on the veranda, take a refreshment at the bar, enjoy the swimming pool and a relaxing area with breathtaking views on the valley and Lake (long chairs, beach umbrella, daily change of pool towel free of charge for our guests), or dine at our excellent restaurant — either a la carte or sampling a range of our local recipes, which make use of the best Tuscan produce. There is a wide, carefully selected wine list, concentrating of course on the excellent wines of Tuscany. Supplied with magnetic keys, guests have excellent freedom of movement, and there is very good access for the handicapped, both inside and outside the hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and furnished with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV, fridge and phone. There is also internet access in the lobby of the hotel and an outdoor swimming pool.
Rooms
The hotel boasts 7 rooms and 2 apartments in front of the hotel. All the rooms are very comfortable and they offer all the services of the category. The rooms (double, twin or triple) offer air-conditioning, heating (both with control set panel in room), minibar, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV, towel warmer and bathroom with shower. The apartments are located in an independent building in front of the entrance of the hotel and are two in total. Apartment 2+1: this is a comfortable double bedroom with a single sofa-bed, kitchen/dining room equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, hotplates for cooking; one toilet and one bathroom with a bath. From all the windows wonderful view on the valley. Independent air conditioning and heating. Buffet breakfast, use of the pool and of the relaxing area, daily cleaning, daily change of towels included. Apartment 4+2: this apartment is on two floors and has on the ground floor: a large lounge/dining room with fireplace, large kitchen fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, bathroom with shower, camera with two singles/one double beds with laundry area equipped with washing machine and laundry sink and on the first floor: two double rooms (one of which may alternatively be with two single beds), large bathroom with shower. Large outside area under a porch with breathtaking view for exclusive use of this apartment. Independent air conditioning and heating. Nestled near the boundary between Tuscany and Umbria , Cortona boasts an interesting location. The old centre of Cortona retains much of its natural charm and is surrounded by medieval walls which are not only an interesting element of the landscape but also a monument of strong archaelogical importance. The present perimeter is about 3km. An array of restaurants, shops, museums, churches and a Medici fortress are in the vicinity. -The city centre is an easy, pleasant walk of about 1 km. The area also has some outstanding trails for horseriding, walking or cycling and guided excursions are available by arrangement. -There are excellent road links to the Tuscan cities of Arezzo (28km), Siena (78km) and Florence (90km); and the wine lands of Chianti, Montepulciano and Montalcino. A railway station is situated just 5km from the hotel. -Visit the home of Frances Elisabeth Mayes , widely published poet, gourmet cook, and travel writer as she opens the door to a wondrous new world in her restored villa in spectacular Cortona. -Visit the Sanctuary of Santa Margherita; On the cortonese hilltop is the sanctuary, right below the Medicean fortress. It was built in 1297 near the pre-existent oratory consecrated to Saint Basilio, following Niccolo Pisano's plan.

3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date no penalty. If the cancellation is made within 3 days prior to the arrival a one night room plus tax charge penalty per room reserved will be charged to your credit card/deposit.
